How do I make a booking?

Booking your mobile tyre service with Tyres On The Go is a easy:

Select Your Tyres: Start by visiting our website. Use our easy search tool to find the tyre size for your vehicle.

Pick Your Preferences: Once you've chosen your tyres, simply select a date and time that suits you best, and provide us with the location where you'd like the service to be completed.

Confirm & Relax: Finalise your booking with a couple of clicks. We'll handle the rest, ensuring we're on our way to you at the appointed time.

I'd love to book an appointment - what are your operating hours? 

Sounds great! Our operating hours are from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and on Saturdays from 8 am to 2 pm. We can schedule you for whichever day and time window works best.

What if I need to change the date or time of my tyre appointment? Can you reschedule me easily?

Absolutely! We understand schedules can change. Just reach out to our customer support team and we'll happily rebook your appointment for a date and time that works better for you.

If I miss my scheduled booking, can I just call you to rebook?

Certainly! If you miss your scheduled booking, you have the option to call us directly to reschedule. We understand that sometimes things come up unexpectedly. To avoid any penalties, we encourage you to inform us in advance if you cannot make your appointment. However, please be aware that if our technicians arrive for a scheduled service and you are not present without prior notice, a fee of $150 may apply to cover their time and travel. To reschedule, simply use the reply to us from the confirmation email or reach out to our customer service team for assistance.

Oops, I think I ordered the wrong tyre size initially - can I update that easily?

Not a problem at all. As soon as you realise the error, just give us a call right away on 0800 897 328. We can update your order details so you receive the correct tyres.
One of our team members will also call to confirm you have ordered the correct tyres before we come out for the installation to avoid any mixups.

Location/Access Requirements

How much space do you need around my vehicle to properly swap out the tyres? Will a driveway or parking lot work?

For our mobile tyre fitters to do their job, we need enough clearance to fully access both sides of your vehicle. A driveway, parking lot, or any open area with room for our service van to park nearby is perfect.

I have an inclined driveway - is that okay for your mobile service?

Sloped driveways are typically just fine for us to work on. As long as the angle isn't extreme and we deem it safe, we can perform the tyre install right in your driveway. If it's not ideal for any reason, we'll simply ask you to relocate the vehicle to a better spot.

Are there any locations where you wouldn't be able to safely perform the tyre fitting?

We would only turn down a job location if it poses a hazard or risk to you, our technicians, or others around the workspace. But we'll thoroughly evaluate first before declining any service.

Can you come directly to my home or office building for the tyre installation?

You bet! Our whole business is conveniently bringing the tyre shop directly to you at your home, workplace, or any other suitable location. However, we do not provide roadside tyre services for safety reasons. As long as it's a driveway, parking lot or other designated area, we can come to you for the full mobile fitting service.

What areas do your mobile tyre vans service around here?

Our mobile vans serve customers located in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch, and Queenstown. If you don't see your specific location listed on our website, go ahead and give us a call. We'll do our best to accommodate you if possible.

All of the tyres we install come with manufacturer warranties to cover any defects in materials or workmanship. These warranties offer excellent protection for your purchase.

Just to give me peace of mind, are your technicians fully insured when working on my vehicle?

Absolutely! You can rest assured we carry comprehensive liability insurance coverage while performing tyre services on your vehicle. Our company is fully insured to keep you protected.

What info do I need to book my tyre appointment online?

To book online, you'll need to know the tyre size currently installed on your vehicle. This can be found stamped on the sidewall of each tyre. If you need any assistance determining your tyre size, our team is just a phone call away at 0800 897 328.

What brands of tyres do you offer?

We offer a wide range of tyre brands including Pirelli, Falken, Dunlop, GT Radial, Giti, and Mickey Thompson, each catering to different needs and preferences, ensuring you find the perfect match for your vehicle.

What is included in the tyre service?

Our mobile tyre service includes:

How long will it take for my new tyres to be fitted?

The time it takes to complete our tyre service can vary, but most fittings are neatly wrapped up within an hour. This time frame could change depending on the number of tyres you need fitted and the setup at your location.

Can you fit tyres on any regular passenger car, SUV, or light truck?

You bet, our mobile tyre vans can handle any regular passenger vehicle, SUV, crossover, or light-duty pickup truck. As long as it can be driven with a standard license, we've got you covered.

Do you provide services for commercial vehicles?

We do not offer services for commercial vehicles. For any commercial tyre needs,we recommend reaching out to Carter's Tyre Service, as they specialise in commercial tyre solutions.

Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, or if you need a bit more flexibility, we also have AfterPay available. Whatever is most convenient for you is perfectly fine with us.
